When you buy a managed server from us, we simply do not provide you the hardware and facility, but also provide you a tightly integrated managed service options which are suited for customers looking to leverage the skills of our Tier 3 engineers. Our standard management and administration includes monitoring the server and services round-the-clock, installing, managing, updating and monitoring security patches, as well as service pack testing and installation. We also proactively monitor all the equipment and the deployed application infrastructure, so we can make recommendations for improvements and responsiveness. Please note that any support related to your client’s or your end-users will not be covered under this.

Special virtualization software partitions the server in a way that each partition has its own dedicated scalable resources and can be configured almost like a full dedicated server. VPS customers share the physical server hardware (hardware node) with other VPS customers but are not able to access the other VPS’s data in any way.

Unmanaged servers are provided full root or administrative privileges. Managed servers are not provided root level access.

Typical server setup times are 24-48 hours as servers are set up individually, tested by our system administrators, and checked for all service functionality prior to sending your welcome email. We call this the burning period which ensures that there are no issues with the hardware or the setup prior to loading your business application on it.
