We are pleased to announce the opening of our branch office in the State of California, U.S.A to provide local support services and undertake on-site application development projects. The opening of this office will also enable Byte Technosys Pvt. Ltd. to market its services to Fortune 500 companies and other large companies which seek either offshore companies for handling back-end operations or need on-site support or development services.
The new company formed is known by Byte Technosys (U.S.A.) Inc. With this venture the company now aims at getting high value projects in the U.S. while ensuring complete back-end and manpower support from the Indian office. |

As our new logo indicates, we have
recently changed our name from Byte Technology

Microsoft Sponsored High-End Product
Training for Government of Gujarat

Starting from the 25th of October
2004, the CEO of Byte Technology and a Technical
Director at ACT, Mr. Vishal Vasu conducted a training
workshop on High-End Microsoft Products for the
Gujarat Government. The hands-on training workshop,
which was sponsored by Microsoft India and organized
by ACTUNIV, aimed to equip the departments of
Gujarat Government with the skills and knowledge
of Windows XP, Windows 2003, IIS 6.0, MS SQL 2000,
MS Exchange 2003, MS ISA 2004 and MS Share Point
Portal Server.
The training workshop was attended
by Chief Information Officers (CIO) of Gujarat
Government from most of the departments including
Home Department, DGP Office, Road and Transport
Department, Commissioner of Transport Office,
Gujarat Informatics Limited (GIL) etc.
The first part was on Windows Operating
system, in which not only the Windows Architecture
and Active Directory was examined in-depth, but
also case study of its actual deployment was practically
discussed. The second part involved the Microsoft
Windows Server System, which looked into how to
design and define quality, consistent and manageable
Web Servers, Mail Servers, Firewalls and Security
Concepts in a systematic manner.
All of the attendees rated
the workshop positively and regarded it as useful
and practical. "The valuable skills and knowledge
gained will help the Government to implement eGovernance
projects and to minimize repetitive efforts in
data conversion during the process of business
document exchange and achieve interoperability
for information exchange reliably and securely."
